My desire to organize began at a young age. Cleaning and organizing was an outlet to relieve stress and a way to find inner peace. As I got older, there was nothing I enjoyed more than organizing, decorating and having my house be the peaceful, beautiful space I always envisioned. Now, as a mom of two young girls I’m constantly rearranging toys, clothing and equipment in my own home into fun and functional spaces for my girls.
I’ve had a long and successful career in early childcare and teaching, where I was able to master the creation of designated learning areas with organizational systems that are key components to a child’s purposeful play, learning and exploration. While I have truly adored the last fifteen years professionally working as a teacher, director and regional recruiter, my greatest fulfillment has been watching how these important spaces I created and organizational systems have positively impacted the way teachers and students have been able to interact and learn in the classroom.
As many did during the pandemic, I spent a lot of time reflecting and realized that it was time for a change and decided to follow the path I knew could bring me the most fulfillment and joy.
I want to introduce you all to the next stage in my professional career. “Organized State of Mind” is the start of my true passion to help others organize and create systems and spaces to make them functional while making the best use of the space given. I truly look forward to bringing you peace of mind through my work.
